I graduated from High Point University in 2008 with a B.S. in Information Security and Privacy as well as with minors in Criminal Justice and Management Information Systems. I've always been interested in the InfoSec area of computers but I've also increased my span on knowledge/interest to Intrusion Detection and Digital Forensics. I'm currently pursuing a higher education at the University of Central Florida in their M.S. in Digital Forensics program. I'm involved in various associations, a contributor to the SANS forensics blog and have a handful of different certifications. In 2010 I started a new internship where I'll be a research assistant for a paper on cybersecurity and taking a look at the pros/cons of its current setup in the government.
